Amie Berndt enters her second year as an assistant coach for the Simpson men's and women's volleyball teams in 2024-25.

The Des Moines, Iowa native graduated from Grand View University with a degree in kinesiology and health promotion in 2021. She was a three-year member of the women's volleyball program.

Amie is still at active beach and Grass volleyball player in the Des Moines area.
